Totaled 29 points, 5 rebounds and 5 assists in a 111-106 loss in Cleveland on 1/10. Recorded his first career triple-double with 16 points, 12 assists and 10 rebounds in a 99-91 loss to Miami on 12/6. Tallied a game-high 29 points and corralled 8 rebounds in a 98-93 loss in Seattle on 11/26. Posted a game-high 27 points and snared 7 boards in a 101-93 loss in Milwaukee on 11/16. On the injured list from 2/2 to 3/4, missing 15 games, due to a Grade Two sprain of the medial collateral ligament in his right knee. Selected to compete in the Schick Rookie Game during the 1998 NBA All-Star Weekend in New York but did not play due to injury. Registered a team-high 20 points in a 99-74 victory over the Denver Nuggets on 1/16. Recorded 12 points, 6 assists, 5 steals and 4 rebounds against the Utah Jazz on 1/12. Scored a team-high 24 points and grabbed 5 rebounds against the Toronto Raptors on 1/10. Totaled a game-high 18 points, 4 steals and 3 rebounds in a 100-70 victory over the Houston Rockets on 1/6.
